For those clients not on a Managed IT Services contract Neticonic can provide ad-hoc IT Support.  All of the same technology is supported, such as:

  • Network hardware such as routers and modems
  • Servers, Desktops and Laptops
  • Printers & Scanners
  • Software (Microsoft Windows, Office, Sage etc)
  • E-Mail and Calendaring
  • Mobile/Remote access

Ad-Hoc support is more suitable for smaller businesses with only one or two users and maybe no server.  Even so, depending on your reliance on IT in your business you may still benefit from a managed services contract.

How does Neticonic respond?

We respond in much the same was as for our managed services clients.  Where possible we will try to resolve the problem by connecting remotely to your IT systems but where necessary we will visit your site.  We can typically respond either the same or next business day (Monday - Friday 9am-5pm).

How much does it cost?

Our Ad-Hoc support service is charged on a time and materials basis.  Our hourly rate for labour is £60/hour + VAT.  We can provide estimates beforehand should you require one.  We also won't charge for travelling time for a site visit providing the site is within 20 miles of St Helens.
